The Snugg iPad Case is a simple and budget friendly way to protect your iPad from unwanted damages. Coming in a wide variety of colors and available for every iPad out to date, the Snugg has become a very popular option for iPad owners looking to protect their device, and for a good reason.
The design of the case looks very nice. The PU leather casing is beautiful and you can lightly smell it once you open it up. It wraps around the iPad nicely, fully protecting the device from damage should it be dropped.
The real thing that shines about this case is the amount of features it packs. Similar to Apple’s Smart Cover, the Snugg iPad Case works magnetically and will put the device to sleep when the case is closed, and wake it back up when you open it up. Also similar to the Smart Cover, and as shown in the pictures above, the case is capable of folding different ways to position and hold your iPad the way you want it. This is great if you like watching movies on your iPad (See: Best Movie Applications For iPhone/iPad)
Additionally, there is a handle which you can put your hand through here to hold the device. Although I didn’t find myself using it that much, it could be beneficial to some people, especially those who would use it similar to a clipboard, with the case and iPad in your left hand and a stylus in the right.
Which brings me to to my next point. The case also has a a little loop at the top to store the Snugg 2 in 1 Stylus Pen as shown above. The stylus pen is available in three different colors, black, silver, and red, and works great with the iPad. At the end of the stylus, there is also a little jack which can plug into the iPad’s headphone port for storage when not in use.
Despite all the positives with this case however, there are a few cons. The case does add a bit of bulk to the device. Although this change is noticeable, it’s not significant. If using this case with a newer generation iPad, it’ll still be lighter than the iPad 1. However, if you like fitting your iPad into a small bag or purse, or you require that your device be extremely light, you may be better off looking elsewhere.
What’s your favorite iPad case and/or stylus? Have you used the Snugg case before? How did you like it?
