The App Store market is so much harder to compete in today than it was just a few years ago. With so many reviews being based solely on the app being bug free, it’s extremely important that you eliminate the bad reviews caused from bugs and keep your application with as high of a rating as possible. The best way to do this is to hire people to test your application.
App Testers Will Have Other Devices
With over 10 different iOS devices out, chances are, you don’t have all of them. Which means you won’t be able to test on all of them. Which means, yep, you won’t be able to ensure all of them work with your application the way they are meant to. So how do you fix this problem? Give out your application to someone who does have these other devices you don’t, and let them run tests on your apps, reporting any bugs they encounter. By doing this and eliminating the bugs, you’ll have also eliminated a ton of future 1 star reviews from people with older devices in which your application is not compatible with.
App Testers Will Have Other Opinions
Often times when you hire people to test your application, they’ll also tell you a brief summary of what they think of it, what they like, and what they don’t like. What is going great, and what needs to be improved. I’ve even had some app testers in the past give me programming tips on how to optimize my application better! You can use this information to help make changes to your app before it is released, and ensure your purchasers are only getting content that they like within the app.
Want Both Of These?
How cool would it be to have your application tested on more than 6 different devices, as well as getting it professionally reviewed, and advertised through a review post here on iOS Universe? We offer our own service including all of these, all for the low price of $40. Read more about this service by clicking on ‘Get Your App Reviewed‘.
You’ll want to do all of this before you release your application on the App Store for the first time. By doing this, you’ll eliminate bad ratings and reviews from users who had encountered bugs while using your app. Nobody likes buggy applications, so make sure to fix them before you release if you want to keep people happy. And if you really care about making money, your customer’s happiness should come first.
