When launching an application on the iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch for the first time, the application is likely to ask you if you’d like to enable push notifications. No harm in doing so, right? That’s not always the case – some apps tend to overuse this ability, and annoy the heck out of you.
First, open up your Settings app. Click on the area labeled Notifications. After that, a list of all the applications that can send you notifications will appear. Tap the one you want to change.
After that, you’ll be able to change how the application is able to send you notifications. To fully disable push notifications on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch, turn everything off.
And that’s all there is to it really – managing notifications on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch is really that easy. Finally, you won’t have any more annoying applications sending you push notifications all day! What a relief, right?
