Google+ has been notorious for sending out notifications for every little thing. Someone +1’s your comment. Someone shared your photo. Someone added you to their circles. The list goes on and on. But what if you don’t actually want all these notifications? What if you just want to be notified for the important things? It’s actually not that hard to manage Google+ notifications on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. Here’s how it’s done.
Step One: Google+ Settings
Open up the Google+ app. Swipe from the left side of your screen to the right, or click the button in the top left bars to bring up your navigation menu.
Step Two: Managing Google+ Notifications
From there, click on the little gears icon which will bring up your Google+ settings. From there, click on the area labeled ‘Notifications’.
Step Three: Disable Unwanted Notifications In Google+.
From here, you can choose what notifications you want to be sent to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch. Alternatively, you can disable notifications entirely from your device’s Settings app. That’s all there is to it! Now you know how to disable Google Plus notifications.
